Hey Raptor! Boiling strings aint ideal for us six stringers, but if you know anybody who plays bass then it's an absolute godsend! New strings for free! D'Dario classical (nylon) strings are the best money can buy in (well - I guess thats down to personal preferance) and ernie ball slinky's as sound good on my Pacifica. Hope tha helps.
