This today from the NAACP web site:

Baltimore - Kweisi Mfume, President & CEO, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), today announced the resolution of a lawsuit against the Adam's Mark Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida relating to Black College Reunion 1999. The settlement agreed to by the parties provides for monetary relief for the five individual plaintiffs, the creation of a settlement fund to be administered by the State of Florida to provide compensation for guests of the hotel during the weekend of April 9 -11, 1999 and payments to the four historically Black colleges and universities in Florida.
