Okay, though having played guitar for 25 years, I've gotten irregular enough to nearly lose my calluses between bouts. So I'm headed to a jam tomorrow. What tricks help to create instant calluses. I'd be tempted to try superglue or something if it has helped millions. At one jam I was at, they were passing a jar of some sort of grease around, (I guess so you don't cut your fingers sliding up and down strings). It didn't appeal to me, getting the strings all greasy.
