The idea comes from reading another thread where a prominent Mudcatter reveals that he always carries a concealed, loaded gun. I always thought that folk music people were gentle, non-violent sorts. I think of the anti-gun songs by people like Tom Paxton, for example. But now, my illusions have been shattered by this Mudcatter. I'm trying to determine if I'm out of step. Is carrying concealed, loaded guns typical of the people who frequent Mudcat? I have seen this heat packing Mudcatter at family oriented folk music festivals. I sure don't want my kids around him now that I know what he's about.
