LEJ, I've lived all 42 years of my life in Canada. I've never seen a handgun other than the ones that the Police carry. Yes, they're out there, but handguns in Canada are owned by two groups, outlaws, with whom I don't associate, and the police that we pay to keep them in line. I don't live in the fear that one of my children will accidently kill themself or their sibling with the "family Gun". I trust the police to keep me safe. I know of nobody fabricating guns on their workbench.
