Ian Darby What song do you want at your funeral? (348* d) RE: What song do you want at your funeral? 21 Dec 01

"Blaze Away" sung by either Norma Waterson or Josef Locke, "We'll make a bonfire of out troubles, and we'll watch them blaze away...." When me Mam died we played "Jerusalem" and a tape of Morris tunes I'd done on my MIDI stuff, we filed out to a versions of "Lord of the Dance", "Merry Sherwood Rangers" and "Blue Eyed Stranger" as if done by a wired up Albion Band. (Four on the floor Drum and Bass heavy). On my Gravestone I want the words "I told you I was ill". (This has already been seen in a Manchester graveyard, or may be apocryphal, I don't care). Excellent thread.... Happy Xmas.
