Whatever happen to Jim Lloyd and Folk on 2, BBC radio 2 weds nights? WHen I was last in the UK this was a good mixture of UK folk music, live & recorded, with occasional forays into other arenas. Mike Harding, a first clas entertainer in his own right, seems to have turned this slot into a mixture of country & western and electrified celtic influenced pop, with the occasional mention of World music. I'm sure its very popoular, but has lost a lot in the change. Where's the music one can hear in the few clubs and the festivals?
