Like Mr Rick Fielding, I too have virtually given up on Novels for the past twenty years or so, finding history in biography and biographical notes in history, more to my liking. I am surprised that no-one has mentioned Joan Baez's Biog? Was it derided? or popular when it first appeared in the U.S.? I read it a few years ago along with "How can I keep from singing?" and , of course, "Bound for Glory" would these still be popular among mudcatters to-day? beach
