Hello,

I've just had to install Quicktime 5 on my PC (Windows 98) to view a particular file.

On the install I was quite careful not to make it the default player for any other formats than the proprietary Apple ones.

However, it appears to have made itself the default for midi files when I click on a web link (files on my hard disk are still played by Windows Media Player)

Looking at 'File Types' in My Computer / View / Options / File Types, MIDI is set for Windows Media Player.

I can't find any options either within IE5 or Quicktime to revert web midi to Windows Media Player.

Hope this makes sense, I'm probably missing something really obvious.

Thanks for your time.

Paul
