GUEST,Fortunato -- That ain't hominey grits. Albert E. Brumley - Gospel & Old-time (21) Who was Arthur E. Brumley, Sr? 20 Jan 02

Apparently someone named Arthur E. Brumley, wrote "I'll Fly Away" and other early country gospel standards. I see references to him but nothing substantial. What can you folks tell me about him? As you may know I try to get to close to original soures when learning a song.
I'm interested in his bio; earliest performances/recordings of his songs, etc. Thanks in advance. Regards, Fortunato
