I am never disappointed by the lassies. As Burns put it (and he was inclined to put it about quite liberally), "The sweetest hours that e'er I spend, are spent among the lasses, O". It's just that where I come from (Scotland) Alisdair is a boy's name, in fact, when I was a young laddie, my family called me (and still call me) Alistair as the gaelic equivalent of Alexander (my Sunday name). As you can see, I go by Alex these days.
