Bruce Cockburn will be my special guest this Thursday (February 7)on Folk Roots/Folk Branches.
In the more than 30 years that have passed since Bruce won his first Juno as Canada's Folksinger of the Year, he has become one of our most influential singer-songwriters, guitarists and social activists with more than two dozen albums and countless concert performances to his credit. Bruce's new release, "Anything Anytime Anywhere," is a retrospective of 14 of his most popular songs and two newly-recorded songs. I'll be talking with Bruce about his music and his activism and we'll listen to some of his songs.
Bruce will be joining me from about 10:00-11:00 am. Before and after, we'll have lots of other great music.
Folk Roots/Folk Branches is heard Thursday morings from 9:00-11:30 (Eastern time) on CKUT, 90.3 FM, in Montreal or in RealAudio from the Folk Roots/Folk Branches website.
