Yes, it would definitely help to know where you are based. A friend at work had a fundraiser for his daughter's baseball team just last month. It was a turnaround trip to Laughlin (we're in Southern California). They raised about $1100 for the team. Also a good idea is selling chocolate. Many companies (World's Finest and Ghiradelli's come to mind) help out with fundraisers and usually give half the monies to that organization. Car washes are also good and lots of fun to participate in. You could also come up with some ideas for pledges like a kick-a-thon since its soccer. Also ask parents to see if their employers might consider sponsoring the team. You never know if you don't ask.
