Sorry Murray, I wouldn't agree with you there. I have been singing for over thirty years (stopping for the odd breath) and if a song takes my fancy I learn it, practice it until I feel comfortable it and then sing it. I don't go and research all about who recorded it, when or where! I will probably over a period of time find out more of its back ground but I wouldn't research it before I learned it. Few do. (a far as I know - or maybe I have the wrong approach) Digger
