Maybe it is just the yank in me, but I still don't get why the celebration of diversity is bad, Mr Hammond. Particularly in Music. Yeah, some things can be divisive but in the case of the awards shows it seems to bring folks together and in this world we need that. May I ask why you think "There are more interesting 3rd world places to visit in my opinion" is the a particular axe you have to grind with the east coast or do you just prefer to travel in third world countries? I would love to know the source of your anger on this. Have you considered the reverse of you statement could also be said we have the ECMA's and the West Coast Awards why do we need the Juno's? ;) Personally, Mr. Hammond, I would love to know what you think "Canada has crossed that line, in more things than just folk music...
