The only Irish connection I recall from the original series was the episode in which Kirk's academy nemesis named Finnegan shows up, picking up where he left off by pummeling and harassing Kirk no end. Talk about stereotyping, Yeesh. At least Finnegan wasn't portrayed as a drunk. Clifton
