Hello Charlie Noble, can you tell me the source of your information about S.S.Stewart tenor banjos? I am interested in this because I got one too, but it might be older than the one described by Lynn Koch. The looks and the number (according to the information about production numbers on the mugwumps-site) indicates a production before 1900. Until now I have only seen pictures of Stewart tenors similar to Lynn Kochs (if all). Has anyone heard of forgeries or is there information of the Stewart company altering their other models to tenors? Thanks in advance Ernest
