Giok, I am on a mission to drive this behaviour from the face of the earth let alone my native Scotland.

You only pay to print the frames you exposed. Granted you pay the same to process a fully used film, so this means you're paying a premium of a few pence to see your pics when they are still relevant, can remember what/who they were, why you were doing that in the first place, how you convinced the police not to press charges etc.

Surely this is preferable to the admitted fun of trying to remember all of the above?
