Gosh, I wash my prof's high tops in warm and dry them on medium heat. I just KNOW that at graduation his student's tell their families to look for the tall bearded guy who has bare legs (shorts under the gown) and bright high top Converse :-)
Mark, your link timed out on me, but I had heard that the canvas shoes--the last to be made in the U.S.-- were going to be made in Asia. Since Keith will only wear American made shoes, we bought 5 pairs the next weekend so that he would have them for a while. I thought that it was a good plan. But about a week ago, he wore a red one on one foot, and a khaki on the other. Yes, he is an absent minded one. The funniest part, is none of his students said anything! They probably just figured, that's Keith!
We have found another brand of shoes, Dexter, that are U.S. made, but I haven't checked to see if they make tennies yet...
