Thanks John, I am aware of the results. However the result was not 50:50 bearing out "the statistical opinions of the Experts" the result was a No vote. I agree with you in that you have to ask the right question and I also think it has to be asked correctly. My question though was, "What is the significance of the No vote?". I am aware there will not be a constitutional change. However will another referendum be held on the matter after the next general election a la the Nice Treaty. if so I would like to see the right question asked correctly. How are suicidal tendencies used as a ground for abortion. Does the descision follow psychiatric analysis to assess if such claims are genuine?
