Bloody hell, and I've just about got all the ingredients to make a batch of this corn bread - and in the process discovered that we do have buttermilk here in Oz.
Maybe I can give a loaf to one of the ex-wives to see if they explode first. How about the US govt. airdropping thousands of loaves on the Taliban, much cheaper than smart bombs. Could be biological warfare though by the sound of it.
