For all those who are completely lost here, I do believe what is being asked is a steam cleaner seen on infomercials.

It doesn't clean carpet, but what it is designed to do is be a high-pressure steam jet that is supposed to clean: mildew off tile, rust stains in the bathtub, hard water stains on faucets, dirt off walls, etc. etc. etc.

Its comes with a reservoir, connected to a small vacuum hose, where the steam travels out of. Usually has a trigger switch, and when depressed, opens the valve and steam is released at the end of the nossle, to attack the dirt and grime of whatever you want to clean.
