Making a difference on an individual level matters. It matters because a lot of individuals make a group, an organization, a movement. If each American, each Brit, Canadian, Irishman, Scots, each citizen of the planet gives back to the community in time or $$$ even a small portion of what it cost to bring them to adulthood, this world would be a better place. No I didn't vote for W. I work to be kind and honest with everyone who crosses my path, no matter what their views may be. I'm not perfect, I screw up a lot, but I'm here, doing my best.
