The name's familiar, they used to have bands on in the Town Hall and I know he used to play there.

The place was full of Hell's Angels, Boris the Vulture & Riz spring to mind.

We used to do Folk nights at the Cross Keys and the Duke of York, but our first paid gigs were at the Bulls Head, (very character building, we played from eight 'til eleven Friday to Sunday) we then went on to tour the Hare & Hounds, Town Hall, and Brown Cow.

Graham Nash came and saw us in the Bulls Head one night and nobody told us until he'd gone.

It was in the days of CSNY and the Landlord, thinking Graham had made a bad career move asked him 'why did you ever leave 'th Hollies?

Those were the days....
