I have a tendency to do this too, speak weirdly that is. I get it from my dad. The words sound fine in my head but when they come out it gets scrambled. For example I just typed 'find' for 'fine'. I'd would probably come out of my mouth that way too. I know it's wrong, and I hate myself for it, but I've been unable to change it in my 27 years. This tendency is most prevalent when I speak, which is one reason I've very, very quiet. Unfortunately people have a tendency to make fun of those whose words come out incorrectly, even if it's just a gentle mocking. I'm not a stupid person (at least I don't think so) but those who listen to me might think me rather thick.
