"I Swan" in New England?

Geesh, that one I thought for sure was southern dialect. My gramma said it all the time, and I thought it was quaint. Always heard it meant "I swear"

I LOVE the idea of mudcatters with their pets, could we do that, please, please, please? Pets I have, lots of em!Frankly, some people shouldn't be seen nearly nude, and I'm one of em!
