I've played a few Peavey electrics, and no acoustics. I'm unimpressed. I believe they are actually made by Samick, who makes most of the other cheap guitars on the market. I think they probably sell more amplifiers than guitars, and with the amps I'm also not impressed. And I don't even think they have a price advantage over very good acoustic amps by Ultrasound and Carvin.

What really pisses me off about the Peavey pricks is how they try to dominate the market. I've seen a few music stores that sell nothing but Peavey amplifiers, (not so much guitars, that's out of their league). But the store can't often sell any other brand of amplifier. Some kind of exclusive deal for budding music stores.

I wouldn't buy a Peavey 25 cent flat pick. Thanks, BlueJay
