For many years it has been our custom to go to Hastings for a long weekend of singing, drinking, Morris dancing, and processing through the streets on the Bank Holiday Monday with the Jack in the Green and Bogies and Giants, to participate in welcoming Summer, epitomised in the Demise of the Jack and the release of the spirit of Summer. Sadly due to recent events ,this may not happen this year, or at least ,not in its usual form..so this Mayday who knows??!!
