Particularly loved your singing, Letty (which is not meant as a backhanded insult to your fiddle playing), and Groningen sounds like an interesting proposition and a chance to hear more of it.

Apologies to yourself and to all the others to whom I would have liked to talk more, but the music "kind of got in the way", and I spent the less wet bits of the weekend catching up on arrears of gardening.

Also apologies to Lord and Lady McMoo for our cutting out before the end of proceedings on Saturday night. We didn't get to bid farewell to Govan or plough the rocks of bawn together this time, but how about doing them next week in the James Joyce?

And did you get those couques au beurre in bed this morning, Mooman? Happy birthday, the next half-century has lots of promise.
