The variety o' accents here in Newfoundland is amazing.The St johns,or townie accent,is practically indestiguishable from the Waterford valley in Ireland.The southern shore is rural Ireland.Conception bay is Dorset.i could go on,but you get the picture.
However,I admit that"Buddies"accent is slightly overdone to cater to the humour of other Newfoundlanders.
One of"The other fellows" has an old song"Sarah"that he sings in his natural accent.I will post it shortly. ljc
