During my time in Clare I lived on the Tulla Road only a few minutes from Spancil Hill, as one who has been Known to sing this song on occasion I can testify that no one can sing it remotely as good as Robbie, I had the pleasure of hearing him sing on many occasions and dspite his age he is still a wonderful singer and songwriter, also Robbie is a real gentleman, and I am proud to call him a friend. Best wishes to all at the Ennis Singers Club, and also to all in Nenagh, look forward to seeing you all again soon. Pat.
