I had a thread earlier in the year. I was down for the rugby. Walked up Snowdon and travelled from there to Porthcawl, took ages. We were lucky with the weather, and Snowdon was truly stunning, the only disappointment was we didn't have time to walk the horseshoe so I could enjoy the vertigo rushes. I can see no reason from your list of interests why you would want to visit Porthcawl, but it's the closest thing to SOdom or Gomorah I've ever encountered. Like a frontier town, though this my have been to do with the rugby. Naturally I've booked up for next time. Z
