Boy, do I remember THAT smell... We had a big German Shepherd with a long coat when I was a kid. She got skunked on vacation and we couldn't do anything but wash her in the lake - sure feel sorry for that lake - and drive home in the car with everyone hanging thier head out the windows, like something out of Gary Larson. We ended up giving her the closest haircut a dog has ever had without actually being a Mexican Hairless. STill took 6 months to lose the stench. DW
