...Thanks for a brilliant, brilliant weekend Roger! The only drawback is that there were so many things that went on that it'll take me weeks to tell the folk back here in Milton Keynes about it all. And the post-Beverley withdrawal symptoms were so bad that I stayed in the area for a little bit longer and visited the Hessle session (The Hase) last night (Tuesday). Now, I just need to do my washing tomorrow before I set off for the Four Fools Festival in Chorley! Looking forward to Beverley in 2003 and this years Hull 'Sea Fever' Shanty festival. Planning to try Whitby too in August, now that I've got the hang of travelling northwards! It was so wonderful to meet and sing/play with Mudcatters such as Bill Sables, Smallpiper, Frank-T, MC Fat, Roger, Willa, John-from-Hull, Brid widder and many more. Simply a fantastic three days.
