Declan me lad, it is nigh on impossible to discuss nationalist bigotry or racism meaningfully without mentioning the names of the groups involved. There is an English/British nationalist form of bigotry which is directed towards the Irish. If you don't want to admit that exists, fine. But to suggest we all just get along here merely sweeps those realities under the rug. I can appreciate people's attempts to defuse ugly bigoted flame wars between the majority English/British posters here in Mudcat and the Irish/Irish American posters. But you can't have it both ways. Either a problem exists in relation to the Irish and Irish music, or it doesn't. If you don't think it is an issue, why did you bring it up to begin with?
