Chordstrangler's's posting (above) is correct , the song(lyric and melody) is at least 100 years old . As producer of the Sean Tyrrell song 'The Coast of Malabar', (from the album Cry Of A Dreamer' (1994) I remember Sean saying that he heard his grandfather sing the song: .
