On Rhymes and Reasons, John Denver sang "The Ballad of Spiro Agnew" (Tom Paxton) "I'll sing you a song of Spiro Agnew, and all the things he's done.", followed by an appropriate silence. Then he did "The Ballad of Richard Nixon" which was just seven seconds of silence.
