My Boy Scout troop cleaned a National Park last weeek . In my town the local vol. fire department spent three hours cutting a car apart with hand tools to say the life of a woman who had gone over a 50' embankment. The firemen had to rig lines just to get to her and work for three hours in 95* heat. An not a paycheck among them! All volunteer.

In our local bank this week a 72 year old man had a serious heart attck, a local woman performed CPR on this stranger until EMS could arrive.
