I still hear "ther ain't no flies on him" here frequently. (East tennessee). It means that the person is very judicious in exerting any energy, except when something develops that they really want to do. It's like getting after your kids to clean-up their room, and they're too tired, until something comes-up that they want to do (like four hours of touch football). "Ain't no flies on that boy now!!!" | |||
