Hrmm. I was wondering about this, myself. I myself am 19, I play guitar, upright bass, mandolin, pennywhistle, fife, and am learning fiddle, dobro, mountain dulcimer, banjo, and saxophone. I've been playing folk, cowboy, country, and celtic music for the past 5 or so years. I've just had problems getting people in my age group interested in joining in the fun.
