Speaking purely on a personal level, I'm very pleased that the IRA have seen fit to issue this apology. This is a huge step forward in the Northern Ireland peace process. For the IRA leaders to have been able to issue such a statement there must have been a huge shift in opinion in the grassroots of the organisation, which can only be a good thing. I now have a real hope that me see peace in Northern Ireland within the next few years. Scott
