I've been playing guitar for about 8 years now, and I'm wanting to become a proffesional folk accompanyist on the folk circuit. Its my 18th birthday coming up next time (March), and I'm getting money from relatives etc. and I thought I'm definately getting a new guitar with the money -choosing a good guitar is definately not a thing to rush! I've been playing a Norman B20 folk for the last year and three quarters, and it hasn't let me down yet, but it hasn't got the deep, bass end sound that I wan't. I want to spend about £800 on it so I want to make sure its the right one for me. For the amount of money I should be able to get a good hand made guitar. Does anyone know of any excellent guitar makers that I might be interested in? Cheers mudcatters, Ian Stephenson
