Hi Susanne, I'll let you know soon some of my reasons for writing songs, in response to your recent enquiry. Briefly regarding the song 'Ye'll no sit here' this was a parody on a rather rude Scottish song about a farmer and the line was 'Ye'll no shite here'. No one obviously wants credit for writing that hence the trad tag! Jim Mclean
