I work as a phone tech support agent for an international (US BASED) ISP and about 3 or 4 times a week we get calls from Canada, usually a very welcome relief but there are those.... Routinely I am told by Newfoundlanders that I " need to loose mu accent before coming to work in their country" several ahve gone to the extreem of suggesting speech lessons.
