Doug, perhaps Ossonflags is right. Perhaps you should police the drivel threads from within, and try to keep those perpetrators of insider jokes and those responsible for drivel, firmly in line, by showing your displeasure in a drivel thread.

Frivolous, inane threads that very occasionally stray into humour are easy to spot: they sometimes have the word "Hull" in them or an errant 9, in honour of a friend.

Doug, you seemed to have missed the irony in Banjo-Flower's attempt to justify his mistake in hitting the submit button twice. But of course he should be compelled to post only when he has something of serious musical worth to submit. I will sort him out, when we are having a good laugh on Sunday evening at the Wooton session.

Enjoying music on both sides of the Humber, appears, shamefully to be a more lighthearted experience than in other places. Which is a great pity.
