Suzanne (skw) A Twinkie is an American snack cake which is filled with a faux creme. Twinkies became notorious some 20 or so years ago when a San Francisco man killed two public officials, blaming his act on eating too many Twinkies. His jury bought this preposterous story...since known as the 'Twinkie Defense' and he was acquitted of murder, but convicted of a lesser crime. He served a short time in prison, was released, and a few years later commited suicide. Only in the good old U. S. of A.!
