Had me a cat, the cat please me. Fed my cat under yonder tree. Cat went fiddle-i-fee, fiddle-i-fee. Had me a hen, the hen pleased me. Fed my hen under yonder tree. Hen went chipsey, chopsy, cat went fiddle-i-fee, fiddle-i-fee. Had me a sheep (baa-baa), duck, horse, cow, baby (wah-ah, wah-ah), wife (honey, honey) and the cat went fiddle-i-fee. Heard it on PBS 20 years ago and have enjoyed singing it every since.
