I have a funny story about this. My father was an attorney in a very small town. One of the guys in town hired him to copyright a couple of songs the man had written. He took his songs to Nashville and paid to have some professionals record them for him. He then pressed singles (okay it was the late 50's or early 60's) and tried to sell them. However, they were the worst songs you have ever heard. The A side was "That Pill Pushin' Nurse." I (thankfully) forget the B side, but I suppose my mother still has it in the basement. These songs were bad. The lines didn't scan and nothing rhymed.
