Marie, I have found that a disproportionate amount of little girls (starting from preschool age) have an inexplicable preference for bright pinks (That's why so many girls toys are wrapped in bright pink). Around 7 years of age the girls then start to say that bright pink isn't for them, they've grown out of it, or want to pretend they have. Perhaps it's only then that they start to find new preferences in colour? I haven't found the same pull towards one colour in little boys. By the way, thank you for your private message.
