All very interesting, but as usual prejudice often replaces reason and historical fact. Hollywood has a lot to answer for, I suspect (especially Braveheart and Brigadoon) Try to find an album called 'Craobh nan Ubhal' by Flora MacNeill. Beautiful, traditional, Hebridean Gaelic songs. For historical accuracy, a good start is 'The age of Arthur: a history of the British Isles from 350 to 650' by John Morris Mo
